Why is it so difficult to be happy? With all of the advances in technology and advances in being more open to mental health issues, one would think that happiness would be on the increase. But instead, we find that people’s overall happiness has been stagnant, or on a slight decline over the last 40 years. Tony shares some information from the book The Happiness Trap, by Russ Harris, which lays out a scientifically-based argument for why so many people have a hard time finding happiness, and, holding on to happiness when and if they do find it.
