Procrastination, it’s not simply an “I’ll get to it later,” problem. Procrastination can be a debilitating issue that causes a great deal of guilt, and shame, to people from all walks of life, from students to successful businesspeople. Most likely we’ve all experienced that feeling of “I’ll do it tomorrow,” or those times where we’re going to sit down and get things done only to find ourselves endlessly searching online for dog-fail videos. The good news is that there are decades of research on the topic, and in this episode of the Virtual Couch, Tony Overbay, LMFT discusses Dr. Timothy A. Pychyl’s book Solving the Procrastination Puzzle. Dr. Pychyl also runs the website http://procrastination.ca and has a popular podcast called iProcrastinate.
